Trusting my Lakeland off leash is a work in progress. They have a ton of energy and can wander off if they catch a scent. But with consistent training, they’re getting better. I try to let them explore in fenced areas where I know they can’t escape.

My Lakeland Terrier is a little comedian. One evening, I was having a serious conversation with my roommate, and suddenly, he jumped up on the table, knocked over a plant, and then proceeded to stare at us like he was the one in charge. It was impossible not to laugh, even though we were trying to be serious. They really have this charm that lightens the mood, and their playful nature makes everyday life so much more fun. Plus, their stubbornness can lead to some really funny moments when they just refuse to listen!

Yes! My Lakeland Terrier seems to have boundless energy. He’ll dig through any pile of leaves he can find, and he also loves chasing after anything that moves, even if it’s just a shadow. It’s like he’s got a mission!
