Q&A
answer · Sealyham Terrier
I highly recommend Sealyham Terriers for their friendly disposition. They’re quite affectionate and love to be around people. One thing I love is their tendency to be a bit goofy, which always brings laughter into our home. They do require regular grooming, but it’s worth it for their adorable looks.
answer · Sealyham Terrier
I can relate! My Sealyham completely ignores new toys and gravitates towards his old, ragged tennis ball. It's amusing how they develop such strong attachments to certain toys!
answer · Sealyham Terrier
They can be reserved at first but warm up quickly.
answer · Sealyham Terrier
I do let my Sealyham off leash in safe areas, but I always keep a close eye on him. They can be a bit stubborn and have a strong prey drive, which is something I've noticed with my pup, Jack. He loves to chase squirrels, so I’m cautious about where we go. If there are distractions, he might run off, thinking he's in a race. It's a fine balance between allowing freedom and staying safe.
answer · Sealyham Terrier
Absolutely! Sealyhams are full of personality. My Sealyham, Benny, thinks he's the center of the universe. He’s constantly entertaining us with his antics and has such a quirky way of interacting with everyone. Despite their small size, they have big attitudes and are quite fearless. We joke that he thinks he's a giant! Just be ready for some stubborn moments with training.
