My Petit Basset once followed the scent of a lost pizza slice that someone dropped during a picnic. He was relentless, sniffing every inch of grass until he got to it. It was so amusing to see him so focused on a greasy slice. These dogs are known for their keen noses, and it really shows!

For sure! My PBGV is constantly trailing scents and frequently stops to investigate. They have an incredible sense of smell, and it’s like they have a mission on every walk. Sometimes, they take off in a different direction, and I have to call them back!
