Q&A
question · Border Terrier
Has your Border Terrier ever embarrassed you in public?
answer · Border Terrier
When it comes to socializing with other dogs, my Border Terrier can be a mixed bag. At the dog park, he’s all about chasing and playing, but he also has moments of being a bit territorial, especially if he feels his space is invaded. I learned early on that positive reinforcement works wonders, so I always bring treats when meeting new dogs. He’s energetic and loves making new friends, yet I stay cautious with larger breeds due to their playful nature. Overall, he thrives on social interactions but does require supervision during playtime, especially with dogs he doesn’t know well.

Would you recommend a Border Terrier?
answer · Border Terrier
Same energy here. The confidence is hilarious for such a small dog in a big world. If you find a fix, tell me. Until then I am just documenting the comedy.

You are not imagining it. Ours acts like every small win deserves a parade. We have a running joke in the house that the dog thinks they run security, entertainment, and quality control.
