Q&A
answer · Pomeranian
Absolutely, they're not shy about it.
answer · Pomeranian
Absolutely, my Pom sleeps with me. He loves being close, and I love having him there. They really are natural snugglers, and it brings such joy to my evenings.
answer · Pomeranian
I was surprised by their energy levels!
answer · Pomeranian
The funniest thing my Keeshond did was try to sneak a snack off the kitchen counter. He jumped up, but when he realized he was caught, he froze in mid-air! It was such a goofy moment.
answer · Pomeranian
Yes, absolutely! Pomeranians think they are the biggest dogs around.
question · Pomeranian
How are they with young kids?
answer · Pomeranian
He loves racing against me in the backyard.
question · Pomeranian
Is it just mine, or does every Keeshond smile at complete strangers?
answer · Pomeranian
My German Spitz is definitely a nosy little one. He's always perched by the window, watching everything that happens outside. It's almost like he believes he's the neighborhood watch. I think their natural curiosity makes them great at alerting you to anything unusual. If you like a dog that keeps an eye on things, a Spitz is perfect.
answer · Pomeranian
You're not alone! Living with a Keeshond means living in a constant cloud of fur. I feel like I sweep every day, yet somehow, there’s always more fur. Brush them regularly to help manage the shedding. I’ve found a good grooming routine helps, but it’s still a full-time job!
answer · Pomeranian
For sure!
answer · Pomeranian
Yes, I’d recommend them! Keeshonds are great family dogs and incredibly loyal. Their fluffy fur is a lot to manage, but they have a delightful temperament that makes it worthwhile.
answer · Pomeranian
For sure! Pomeranians are lively and fun, but they can also be a bit yappy. If you're ready for some personality and a good amount of grooming, they are fantastic companions. Just know they need early socialization to curb any excessive barking.
