Definitely go for a Canaan Dog if you're considering one. They are incredibly loyal and intelligent, which makes training a bit easier than other breeds. I appreciate how they are both affectionate and independent. This breed is also known for their strong instincts and can be quite watchful, making them excellent watchdogs. Just be prepared to give them some mental stimulation to keep them happy.

We also play tug-of-war, and she never wants to give up. It's a good exercise for both of us, plus Canaan Dogs are strong and love to use their muscles!
