Yes, mine does that too!

The funniest thing was when my Sheepdog rolled in mud and ended up with twigs and leaves all over! He looked like a walking nature exhibit.

Shorter trims work best for summer.
answer · Old English Sheepdog
Yes, he sleeps on the couch with me. It's like our little snuggle time.
answer · Old English Sheepdog
Haha, my Sheepdog is more of a bush-wrestler than a dog sometimes! It’s funny how quickly they can get messy again. Just be prepared for lots of grooming after outdoor adventures.
answer · Old English Sheepdog
I would absolutely recommend an Old English Sheepdog! They’re gentle giants with a calm demeanor, perfect for families. They do have a strong herding instinct, so they’ll try to herd your kids or other pets, which can be quite funny. Just remember that they need exercise and mental stimulation to keep them happy.

Same here! I brush my Old English Sheepdog pretty regularly, but you wouldn't believe how much dirt and grass he can still carry back. I think it's just in their nature to explore and get everything stuck in that fur. It does help to have a good grooming brush, though. Have you tried any specific tools for undercoat removal?
