I've seen my Plott Hound completely ignore everything around him when he’s on a scent trail. It's almost like he has blinders on. I can call his name, rattle treats, and he won’t budge until he’s satisfied with his sniffing. It’s amazing how focused they can be, and it really shows their hunting background. Just be prepared for long walks as he follows his nose everywhere.
