Yep, my Polish Lowland Sheepdog definitely takes on the role of family watchdog. If anyone is moving around, he's right there, observing and sometimes barking if things get too rowdy. It's funny because at times it feels like he's judging us on our actions. They have such expressive faces; you can really see their thoughts.

Once, during a walk, he got so excited to see a squirrel that he jumped straight into a bush. It was like watching a cartoon. He emerged looking like a little gremlin, all twigs and leaves stuck in his fur. I couldn't stop laughing at how goofy he looked.
