One of the funniest moments was when my Bullmastiff decided to 'help' me with laundry. He pulled out all the socks and scattered them around the house, as though he was playing a game. His goofy antics always brighten my day. Plus, their clumsy nature is just priceless to watch, especially when they chase their own tail.

100 pound lap dog energy. Guests expect tough, get cuddles in five minutes. Happens constantly. Pro tip: sit against a wall when they lean. Your back will thank you.

I'd recommend a Bullmastiff, for sure. They are gentle giants and are amazing with kids. Just be ready for their stubborn side; proper training is a must.

When guests come, my Boerboel tends to be a bit reserved initially. He stands back and watches everyone, but once he knows they're friendly, he turns into a big mushball. It's funny seeing his personality shift. Though they can be protective, they are also incredibly loyal and loving to their family and friends.
