Q&A
answer · Norwegian Lundehund
Mine is so flexible that it often seems like he can twist in mid-air. It's quite a sight!
answer · Norwegian Lundehund
One unusual thing my Lundehund does is tilt his head in the most exaggerated way when I talk to him. It's like he's trying to figure out a riddle. It definitely makes me laugh every time.
question · Norwegian Lundehund
Would you recommend a Norwegian Lundehund?
answer · Norwegian Lundehund
My Lundehund loves chasing after the laser pointer. Just watching him zip around is enough to make anyone laugh.
answer · Norwegian Lundehund
I would say my Norwegian Lundehund is friendly, but he tends to take his time warming up to new faces. They have a strong loyalty to their family, so it might take a few meetings before he fully embraces a newcomer. It's also fascinating how they have a unique ability to bend their necks sideways, which makes them quite quirky, and this sometimes adds to their cautious nature when meeting new people.
answer · Norwegian Lundehund
I once had a friend who thought my Norwegian Lundehund was just an overgrown puppy. When I demonstrated how they can touch their nose to their back, their jaw dropped! They couldn't believe a dog could be that flexible. The best part was their reaction when my Lundehund proceeded to do the splits while lying down, they were utterly convinced it was a trick. I ended up researching more about how these dogs were bred for climbing cliffs to hunt puffins, which explains their unique flexibility. It's such a fun breed!
answer · Norwegian Lundehund
Yes, they really do! Mine has squeezed into all sorts of odd places.
