I would definitely recommend a Brussels Griffon. They are charming little dogs with tons of personality. My Griffon loves to snuggle and be the center of attention. One quirky thing is how they often act like little comedians, doing silly things to get a laugh. They can be quite stubborn, so early training is important, but they bond very closely with their owners, making them wonderful pets.
