Q&A
question · Tosa
What's the biggest myth about Tosas?
question · Tosa
Would you recommend a Tosa Inu?
answer · Tosa
Nope, I don’t let strangers pet my Tosa.
answer · Tosa
Yes, I agree as well. Confidence-building makes a huge difference with Tosa Inus.
answer · Tosa
Absolutely! My Tosa Inu is pretty chill most of the time, but when he senses something off, he turns into a watchdog. It's fascinating how they can switch from relaxed to alert in an instant. They require proper training, but with that, they can be great companions who are both calm and protective.

I get those questions all the time with my Tosa Inu, Bella. It's funny how people are so wary at first but then can't resist coming over to pet her. Once they see her gentle demeanor, they realize she's a big softie. Tosas are known for their protective nature but they're also super affectionate with their families. I think it helps to let them see you interacting with her first. That way they feel more at ease before approaching!
