Q&A
question · Pumi
Would you recommend a Pumi?
answer · Pumi
I can't forget the time my Pumi tried to herd our cat. He was barking and chasing her around the house like it was a game! The cat was completely unimpressed and just sat there, watching him like he was a weirdo. It was hilarious to see him so determined!

Yes, my Pumi picks up new tricks incredibly fast! They are so eager to please and very intelligent, making training a breeze. It’s like they enjoy the challenge, and I love how they catch on quickly to commands. I’ve taught mine several tricks in just a few sessions. Their energy and enthusiasm bring a lot of fun to our training time.

Yes, my Pumi has a personality that shines through in their expressions! They are so vocal and have their own opinions on everything around them. I love how engaged they are with everything from the TV to our conversations. It always brings a smile to my face.

I completely agree with your trainer. Mental games tire my Pumi out faster than long walks. They are highly intelligent and need mental stimulation as much as physical exercise. I love using puzzle toys and scent games to keep her engaged. It's amazing how a short session of brain work can leave her happily exhausted.

Do you let your Pumi off leash?
