I definitely spoil my King Charles Spaniel, and I don't care who knows it! They're such loving and affectionate dogs, it's hard not to give them all the cuddles and treats. But I think it's important to set boundaries, too. Just because they look at you with those big eyes doesn't mean they should always get a treat!
