Q&A
answer · Pyrenean Mountain Dog
Yes, I've seen my Pyrenees be incredibly gentle with my baby niece.
answer · Pyrenean Mountain Dog
My Great Pyrenees loves to stand guard too. One time, he spotted a squirrel and wouldn’t budge for nearly an hour. I had to coax him inside with treats! It’s funny because they were bred to protect livestock, so this behavior makes sense. Their loyalties are strong, and they see their family as their flock. But you gotta love how seriously they take their 'job.' It can be entertaining to watch.
answer · Pyrenean Mountain Dog
My Great Pyrenees does this adorable thing where he trots around the house with a toy in his mouth, looking for someone to play with. He can be so gentle, and he always senses when someone is feeling down. He'll come over and nudge me with his big head, offering comfort. Their calm demeanor and loving nature really make them special.
answer · Pyrenean Mountain Dog
Absolutely, they are wonderful companions.
