I highly recommend Dalmatians. They have a strong personality and are very loyal. Just be ready for regular exercise, as they have a lot of energy to burn.

Little and often works better than one marathon session. I do a quick brush before walks and a longer session once a week. I keep a small kit by the door: pin brush, comb, treats. Five minutes before we go out beats an hour fixing mats later. Still figuring it out like everyone else, Jacob.
