I would recommend a Norwegian Buhund for sure! They are smart and quick learners, but they do have a stubborn streak. I've noticed they enjoy having a job to do, whether that's herding or just fetching a ball. They're also super affectionate and form strong bonds with their families. Just be aware they may not be the best at being left alone for long periods due to their social nature.
