My Maremma has this sixth sense for sure. The moment someone approaches the house, he starts barking and pacing, even if I haven't noticed yet. It’s impressive how they seem to pick up on sounds or scents that we miss. Maremmas are natural guardians, so it's in their nature to be alert to any potential visitors or intruders. I sometimes wonder if they can hear frequencies we can't. They're so protective, yet gentle with the family!
