I've heard that from my vet as well! Shorter walks seem to help my Saint Bernard stay more energized throughout the day. They tend to get really tired with just one long walk, so breaking it up seems better for their joints too.

Yes, I let my Saint Bernard on the couch. They are such big softies and love snuggling!
