Absolutely, I recommend Bloodhounds. Their sense of smell is unmatched, and they are so loving. They do drool a lot, which can be a downside, but their goofy personalities make up for it. They really enjoy being with their families and are very social. Just be prepared to give them a lot of exercise!

Scent games have made a huge difference for our Bloodhound. They thrive on their sense of smell and need mental stimulation. We do a lot of nose work games, and it keeps her engaged for longer than any fetch game ever could. She lights up when she gets to use her nose, which makes her even more excited when guests come over because she loves to track them.
