Oh yes, my Pekingese definitely thinks she’s royalty. Whenever I try to pick her up, she looks at me like I’ve committed a grave offense. It’s so funny how she demands her space; it feels like I’m being judged for disturbing her royal nap. They're such independent little creatures, and they really know how to make us feel like we work for them!
