answer · Shetland Sheepdog

My Sheltie once barked at his own reflection for a good ten minutes. He didn't realize it was him, and we couldn't stop laughing.

answer · Shetland Sheepdog

Yes, my Sheltie does the same! He rounds us up like we’re sheep. It's amusing but also a bit exhausting at times because he’s always trying to keep everything in line. I think it’s a part of their herding background that makes them so attentive. They can be great if you have kids, as they tend to be protective and playful.

question · Shetland Sheepdog

My trainer recommended teaching an "off switch" early. Was that helpful for you?

question · Shetland Sheepdog

My Sheltie somehow knows exactly when I'm about to leave the house... before I even grab my keys 😂 Anyone else's dog this observant?

question · Shetland Sheepdog

Do you let your Sheltie off leash?

answer · Shetland Sheepdog

Definitely.
