I recommend them for active families. Carolina Dogs are very affectionate but can be a bit stubborn. They love to run and explore, so if you have a big backyard or enjoy hiking, they will thrive.

My Carolina Dog has a hilarious habit of ‘talking’ back to me. She'll give little barks or howls in response, especially when I’m having a conversation. It’s as if she thinks she’s joining in. She also loves to chase her tail, which never fails to make me smile!
