Q&A
answer · Karst Shepherd Dog
My Karst Shepherd is wonderful with children. He has a natural instinct to look after them. I've seen him play gently with my niece and nephew. They run around the yard together, and he never gets too rough. The breed is known for being loyal and protective, which makes him a great companion for my kids.
answer · Karst Shepherd Dog
Absolutely, Karst Shepherds are known for their keen senses. Mine always seems to know when someone is approaching the house, even before I hear a sound. It's like she has a sixth sense! They tend to be very alert and protective, which makes them great watchdogs. I notice she starts pacing or barking before anyone even knocks on the door. It's impressive how in tune they are with their surroundings.

I was really surprised by how attuned my Karst Shepherd is to my emotions. She can sense when I’m upset and will come to comfort me.
answer · Karst Shepherd Dog
I allow it, but only if I’m around. My Karst Shepherd can be selective about who he trusts, so I prefer to supervise.
