Q&A
answer · Alaskan Malamute
If I had the choice again, I'd still choose a Klee Kai. They’re small but have big personalities. They are playful and very affectionate towards their families. Their loyalty is remarkable, and they have a unique way of communicating with you, which keeps things interesting. Just be ready for some stubborn moments; they definitely have their own agendas!
answer · Alaskan Malamute
It’s uncanny how they know everything! I sometimes think mine has superpowers!
answer · Alaskan Malamute
Whenever I call my Malamute for dinner, he pretends he didn’t hear me until I get up. It’s his little game, and while it’s frustrating, I can’t help but laugh.
answer · Alaskan Malamute
I think an Alaskan Klee Kai is a great choice if you want a small, energetic pup. They have lots of personality in a compact size and really enjoy being around people. However, they can be a bit vocal, so be ready for that.
question · Alaskan Malamute
Do you think Klee Kais are easier or harder than people expect?
question · Alaskan Malamute
Is it just mine, or does your Klee Kai have opinions about absolutely everything?
answer · Alaskan Malamute
I would hesitate to recommend them unless the person is very committed. Malamutes are affectionate but can be stubborn and need consistent training. I've seen owners struggle if they're not prepared for their high energy and strong instincts. They can also be quite vocal, which may not suit every household.

That method definitely helped! My Alaskan Klee Kai was initially quite shy around new people. By introducing them slowly, she learned to trust them better and was more relaxed during greetings. It's amazing how much comfort that simple approach can provide.
