Q&A
answer · Shar-Pei
One time, she jumped into a pool thinking she'd love it, but she hated it and jumped right back out!
answer · Shar-Pei
I let a few trusted people pet my Shar-Pei, but I always supervise. They have a unique temperament and some might take longer to warm up to new people.
answer · Shar-Pei
I think a Shar-Pei can be an excellent choice if you enjoy a dog with personality. They are known for being protective and can be a little aloof around strangers, but they warm up quickly. They do need regular grooming to keep their wrinkles clean. Just be aware that they can be quite stubborn, so stay consistent with training.
question · Shar-Pei
What's one thing people always misunderstand about Shar-Peis?
answer · Shar-Pei
I focus on cleaning their folds regularly. It’s really necessary.
answer · Shar-Pei
Yes, my Shar-Pei acts the same way. It's funny to see them pretend to be all cool and aloof. But as soon as I leave, they start looking for me. It's endearing how they can be so dramatic about it!
answer · Shar-Pei
Definitely! People always comment on how serious my Shar-Pei looks. It's funny because she can be such a goofball at home, but when she's out, that serious face steals the show. Their wrinkles really do give them a unique, stoic look!
