Q&A
answer · Norwegian Buhund
I only let mine off-leash in fenced parks.
answer · Norwegian Buhund
For sure! My Buhund hates being left alone and always wants to be where the action is. It’s a bit exhausting sometimes, but I love how affectionate they are.
answer · Norwegian Buhund
Icelandic Sheepdogs are fabulous pets. They're playful and intelligent, making training a fun experience. They do have a tendency to herd, so early socialization is important to minimize any nipping behavior as they learn boundaries. Just know that they are a bit vocal, so if you prefer a quiet dog, maybe consider that.
answer · Norwegian Buhund
Yes, I found it very useful.
answer · Norwegian Buhund
My Buhund totally enjoys playing fetch! He has this boundless energy that makes it so much fun. We often go to the park, and he runs after the ball like it’s the most important thing ever. I love watching him leap.
answer · Norwegian Buhund
My Norwegian Buhund definitely knows when something fun is on the horizon. It's like she has a sixth sense for adventure. Just the sight of me reaching for the leash sends her into a tailspin of excitement. Their natural instinct to herd makes them super aware of our routines. I love that she can predict our outings even before I can!
answer · Norwegian Buhund
I absolutely recommend a Norwegian Buhund. They are incredibly loyal and affectionate dogs, making them great companions. Plus, they have a strong herding instinct, so they love to be active and engaged. Just be prepared for some stubbornness during training, as they can be independent thinkers. Overall, if you're up for an active lifestyle, they're a great choice!
