Q&A
answer · Shih Tzu
I’ve definitely found that keeping my Shih Tzu’s face trimmed shorter helps with hygiene. It reduces the chances of tear stains and makes grooming a bit easier. Plus, it gives him a cute, fresh look! I've learned that regular grooming is key with this breed since their coat can easily mat. Just be sure to get a good groomer who understands how to work with their coat type.

Absolutely, I let my Shih Tzu sleep in bed. She loves to snuggle, and it's very comforting. However, be ready for some serious hogging of the blanket.
answer · Shih Tzu
Every Shih Tzu I've met seems to think they own the couch! My little one, Daisy, has claimed the best spot and will grumble if I try to move her. She has her own little throne and acts like a queen, often guarding it fiercely. It’s funny how she’ll jump up and give a huff if someone else sits next to her. Their personality shines through in such silly ways. I guess it’s just part of their charming but demanding nature.

I absolutely recommend a Shih Tzu.

Oh my gosh, yes! I spent ages grooming my Shih Tzu too, and he did the same thing. It’s like they can’t resist ruining their fluffiness the moment you’re done. My Shih Tzu, Max, loves to dive right into the rug after a nice brushing session. It’s almost like they have a secret mission to mess up all your hard work! But honestly, it’s just part of their goofy charm.
