My Briard has a unique way of sizing up strangers. Initially, she keeps her distance, watching their movements closely. If they approach calmly, she might sniff them out, but if they seem too energetic or loud, she retreats to my side. Once she’s comfortable, though, she becomes a playful goof. It's important to socialize them early, as their natural instinct to protect can make them wary if not properly introduced to various people.

What's the funniest habit your Briard has?

Mine learns faster than I expect. Puzzle toys and scent games drain energy way faster than repeating fetch forever. Keep sessions short and end on a win. Enthusiasm matters more than drilling the same thing for an hour. Still figuring it out like everyone else, Nicole.
