Q&A
answer · Old English Sheepdog
I opted for a shorter trim this summer for my Old English Sheepdog. He seems much happier and more comfortable. I assumed that fur would keep him cool, but it actually makes a difference when it’s hot. I also noticed he sheds less with a good trim.

He once got stuck in a pile of leaves. It was quite the sight!

Yes, my Old English Sheepdog does the same thing! Their coat is like a magnet for grass and dirt. I always find bits of the yard stuck in his fur after a day outside.

My best grooming tip is to start brushing your Old English Sheepdog early. Their coat tangles easily, so daily brushing keeps it manageable.

I feel you! My Old English Sheepdog does the same thing, no matter how much I brush him. Their fur tends to pick up everything, and they love to roll around outdoors.

I brushed my Old English Sheepdog this morning... somehow we still came home carrying half the park in that coat 😂 Anyone else?
