My Boerboel takes a moment to assess new visitors. After a bit of curious barking, he tends to relax and sit beside them, making sure they feel welcomed. It’s funny to watch because he can be this intimidating-looking dog but is actually a gentle giant. They do have a protective nature, but their loving side shines when they get to know someone.
