Q&A
answer · Great Dane
Great Danes can be quite oblivious to their size! My Dane, Max, still tries to curl up in my lap and he's over 150 pounds. It’s a tough realization for them, and I think it usually starts sinking in around 2 years old when they start to mature a bit. Until then, they seem to see themselves as big puppies.
answer · Great Dane
Definitely, Great Danes are amazing dogs!
answer · Great Dane
The funniest thing my Great Dane ever knocked over was a full trash can. One moment he was just sniffing around, and the next, he accidentally bumped it with his paw. It was like watching a slow-motion scene from a comedy movie. Trash went everywhere, and he just stood there looking so confused. I couldn’t help but laugh at his bewildered face while we cleaned up.
answer · Great Dane
Definitely! My Great Dane thinks she's a lap dog. It’s hilarious to watch her try to curl up next to me on the couch, even though she barely fits. She acts as if she’s the perfect size to snuggle and I can’t help but laugh.
