My Flat-Coated Retriever has this hilarious quirk where he pretends to be a guard dog. Every time someone walks by our house, he barks loudly but then just sits there wagging his tail like he’s inviting them in. It’s so ridiculous and cute! He acts all tough but is just a big softie at heart.

Once he ran into a room with a sock in his mouth like it was the greatest prize ever. It's a common Retriever thing to steal socks, but he really nailed the performance!
