My Wachtelhund, Otto, has a knack for following scents longer than I expect. There was a time we were on a hike, and he took off, following a scent trail that led us deep into the woods. I thought we might be there all day, but he finally came back, looking super proud. This breed is known for their hunting skills, and it shows in how eager they are to follow their nose.

Absolutely, my Wachtelhund can get really absorbed in a scent. There was one time at the park when he found something interesting and wouldn't stop until he had explored every inch of that area. It’s amazing how focused they can get when they're on a scent trail.

Yes, my Wachtelhund, Fritz, once followed a trail for what felt like hours, completely ignoring my calls.
