I completely understand your experience! My Anatolian Shepherd is incredibly affectionate, and he loves being close to the family. While they are known as livestock guardians, my boy shows so much love and tenderness towards us. He may look imposing, but he has a soft heart. It's fascinating how they can switch from protector to loving companion in an instant. I've had many neighbors surprised by his gentle nature, especially when he curls up next to me on the couch. He's proven that these breeds can be both protective and incredibly loving.
