I let my Kerry Blue off-leash in safe areas, but I always have to watch him closely. They are intelligent and curious, but they can also be quite stubborn. One time, he decided to chase a squirrel and I had to run after him. It's great exercise for both of us, but I always make sure we’re in a controlled environment.

I let my Kerry off-leash when we go to the park, but I always make sure it’s an enclosed area. They have a lot of energy and a strong prey drive, so I’m cautious. One run-in with a deer taught me to be extra careful. He loves to explore, and I want to give him that freedom while keeping him safe!

I generally don’t let my Kerry off-leash unless it’s in a secure area. They are known for their intelligence and independence, which means they can get into trouble quickly if left to their own devices. I try to keep him on a long line during walks to give him some freedom while ensuring he stays safe. It's important to train them well first to get reliable recall.
