I'd say it depends on the individual. Kuvaszs can be challenging for new owners, but those willing to learn and invest time will find a loving companion.

I wouldn't recommend a Kuvasz to first-time owners. They can be quite independent and require a firm, knowledgeable hand. Their protective instincts mean they need socialization from an early age.
