I do let my Mini American Shepherd off-leash, but only in safe areas. They are very active and love to run, so it’s essential to have a secure spot. Training has been key for us, as they respond well to commands, especially when they know it’s playtime. They have a natural herding instinct, so keeping them engaged helps too. Just make sure you have some toys handy!

I let mine off-leash when we’re at the park. Just make sure to keep an eye on them!
