My groomer said never shave a Samoyed's coat. Have you heard the same thing?

I've also been told not to shave my Samoyed's coat. Their double coat serves as insulation, keeping them warm in winter and cool in summer. If you shave them, it can disrupt the natural process and lead to problems with their skin. Just regular brushing is usually enough to maintain their coat and keep them comfortable.

Definitely, I've heard the same. Shaving can damage their coat and affect their insulation.
