I generally don't let visitors pet my Tibetan Mastiff. They can be quite protective and sometimes wary of strangers. I prefer to supervise any interactions closely. It's important for them to feel secure around visitors, as they can be naturally aloof. Socialization is key, but I usually introduce her to friends slowly. Plus, Tibetan Mastiffs are known for their loyalty and can bond deeply with their owners. Keeping that bond strong means being cautious with who gets to pet her.
