Do you let strangers pet your Rottweiler?

answer · Rottweiler

Building confidence in a Rottweiler is crucial, in my experience. I learned that positive reinforcement and socialization help them become more self-assured. They thrive on leadership, but it's all about balance. You want to encourage them to think for themselves while still respecting commands.

Definitely! My Rottweiler thinks he’s a lap dog, and he loves to curl up on the couch with me. He's over 100 pounds but has no idea of his size. It’s adorable and a little ridiculous at the same time.

I was surprised by how affectionate my Rottweiler is. He’s so gentle and loves to cuddle, which isn't what I expected from such a big dog.
