Q&A
answer · Blue Heeler
Short sessions daily work better than one long one.
answer · Blue Heeler
Absolutely, I would still choose my Australian Cattle Dog again. They are incredibly loyal and intelligent. They can be a handful sometimes with their energy, but their herding instincts mean they are always looking out for you.
question · Blue Heeler
What's the smartest thing your Catahoula has figured out on their own?
answer · Blue Heeler
Absolutely yes! Catahoulas are full of personality and energy. Just be ready for a dog that needs both physical and mental stimulation. Otherwise, they might find creative ways to entertain themselves.
answer · Blue Heeler
I think brain games are definitely crucial for my Australian Cattle Dog. They're so smart that if they don't have a mental challenge, they can become bored and destructive.
answer · Blue Heeler
My Blue Lacy loves to chase after balls and play fetch! It's her absolute favorite activity and she gets so excited when she sees the ball. They are really energetic and need that playtime to burn off all their energy, so I make sure to take her out often.
answer · Blue Heeler
No.
