I trust my Swedish Lapphund off-leash only in secure, enclosed areas. They have a strong instinct to chase, particularly smaller animals, which can be a challenge. While they are generally obedient, their curiosity can lead them astray if they catch a scent. I always make sure to have a reliable recall, just in case. Socializing them early helps, but I still prefer to be cautious.

It seems like Lapphunds have a lot to say! Mine chats constantly, especially when she wants attention or is excited. It's adorable but can be a little much when you're trying to focus. They are known for their vocal nature, and I love how expressive she is. Sometimes, it feels like she's trying to engage in a conversation with me, which makes her even more special.
