answer · Karelian Bear Dog

I'd say a Karelian Bear Dog is a great choice for someone who's active and has space. They thrive on exercise and enjoy being outdoors. However, they can be quite stubborn, which might be a challenge during training. It's important to establish boundaries early on. Also, they have a strong instinct to bark, which can be surprising. But their loyalty and protective nature make them really special companions.

answer · Karelian Bear Dog

Yes, my Karelian Bear Dog is always on the lookout for something to chase. It's instinctual for them, given their history as hunters. Whenever we take walks in wooded areas, he stops frequently to scan the surroundings. I've learned to give him enough leash to explore safely but keep a close eye on him just in case.
