Q&A
answer · Japanese Spitz
Their grooming needs are real, so be ready for that!
answer · Japanese Spitz
I found it surprising how much my Eskimo loves to play in the snow. They truly thrive in colder weather!
question · Japanese Spitz
Would you recommend a Japanese Spitz?
answer · Japanese Spitz
My American Eskimo is a total sweetheart and seems to smile when he's happy. It's such a cute sight! They are naturally friendly and affectionate, which adds to that smiley demeanor. Every time I come home, it's like he’s rolling out the red carpet!
answer · Japanese Spitz
Yes, I think it was a great idea. My American Eskimo has a strong personality and can be quite vocal. Teaching him to be quiet when asked made our lives much easier, especially at home. It took some time, but he picked it up well with positive reinforcement.
question · Japanese Spitz
What's your funniest Eskie story?
answer · Japanese Spitz
My Japanese Spitz once tried to catch a butterfly and ended up tumbling into a flowerbed, which made a huge mess.
answer · Japanese Spitz
Absolutely! My Eskie is my nighttime buddy. They love to burrow and be close to me, which makes for cozy nights.
answer · Japanese Spitz
My biggest challenge has been managing their energy level. American Eskimo Dogs are super playful and require a lot of exercise. I've found that incorporating daily walks and playtime helps keep them happy and well-behaved, plus it gives me some exercise too!
answer · Japanese Spitz
Totally, my American Eskimo Dog, Buddy, can't get enough of new faces. He tries to greet everyone.
answer · Japanese Spitz
One bush and all my work is gone too. Leave-in spray midweek saved me. Full bath day is when the coat actually looks silky. If you wait until it tangles, you are fighting a losing battle. Ask me how I know.
answer · Japanese Spitz
Little and often works better than one marathon session.
