Q&A
answer · Drever
My Drever is constantly sniffing around. It's like a natural instinct for them to explore every scent, which can be both fascinating and a bit exhausting. They have a knack for finding things I didn't even know were out there. I once lost a shoe in the yard, and she found it within minutes. It's amazing how their sense of smell works, especially since they were bred for tracking.
question · Drever
I called my Drever three times... he looked at me, sniffed one more spot, and then decided to come over 😂 Is that just part of owning this breed?
answer · Drever
My Drever once tracked down a lost shoe in the park. It was a hilarious sight as he pranced back to me with this old, muddy shoe in his mouth, acting like he found treasure. It took me a moment to realize it was someone else's, but he was so proud of his find. It’s just a reminder of how curious and playful they can be.
answer · Drever
Absolutely, I’d recommend a Drever! They are loyal and great with families. They do love to bark, so if you live in an apartment, keep that in mind. Their tracking ability is impressive, which comes from their hunting background. Training them can be a breeze, especially if you start young.
