Focusing on trust worked wonders for me. My Korean Jindo was very stubborn at first, but once I built that bond, everything clicked into place. We’ve come a long way since then, and I can see how much he appreciates the trust I’ve put in him.

Oh, for sure! My Korean Jindo is exactly like that. She's super polite with strangers but completely lights up when my wife walks through the door. It's almost like she has a switch that flips; she goes from calm observer to excited greeter in a heartbeat. Jindos can be quite the one-person dog, so I think they just have stronger preferences for their beloved humans. It’s what makes them special but can sometimes lead to them ignoring everyone else. I love that about her!
