My trainer suggested focusing on trust instead of repeating commands. Did that work for you?

Focusing on trust worked wonders for me. My Korean Jindo was very stubborn at first, but once I built that bond, everything clicked into place. We’ve come a long way since then, and I can see how much he appreciates the trust I’ve put in him.

It absolutely worked for us! My Jindo was resistant to commands, but when I shifted my approach to building trust, he began to really engage and respond positively. It took some time, but he now looks to me for guidance without hesitation. Jindos are known for their independence, but that trust made all the difference in our relationship.
