Trusting my Pharaoh Hound off-leash is a mixed bag. They have a strong prey drive, and once they catch a whiff of something interesting, they’re gone! I do let my Pharaoh off-leash in secure areas, like our fenced backyard, but I’m cautious in open spaces. Training them to come back consistently is a work in progress, but they have a great recall when they’re focused. It’s always an adventure when they spot something to chase, so I keep those moments supervised.

I love my Pharaoh Hound! They have so much energy and are very playful. I would say they require regular exercise, so be prepared for daily runs. Interestingly, they are known for their unique speed and grace, making them excellent at agility training. Just be mindful of their sensitivity; they don't respond well to harsh training methods.
